I’ve been interested in Victorian and Steampunk styles for quite a while and more so the past few months. I’ve always wanted to give it a try but never really knew where to start..
Rather than going all out I wanted to start with something small, an old iPod Shuffle 3rd Gen that was scratched to buggery and hadn’t used in a while
Making it was really fun, the thought of having something that is unique or one of a kind is pretty awesome and i love how the different metals catch the light
Expect more at some point, I’d love to make something bigger in the future c:

Wow that’s awesome! How did you do it? I’ve heard all this hype about steampunk I didn’t know it was this good! ^_^
Just by getting my hands on some really small cogs and gears, I really want to try it on something larger next time so it isnt as fiddly LOL
Thank you very much!
That’s pretty neat, I like how the light bounces off the gears.
Now if they started moving I’d be really impressed haha.
Haha! Well maybe if i can get better at this i can make one with some moving gears then show you XD
This is the first time I heard of this. This looks very interesting! The different locations you take the pictures in gives in a whole new perspective. (in your hand, on a table and on your leg? XD)
Nice work looks difficult to make though :o
Haha you got all 3 places instantly XD
Thank you very much, this one was a little difficult just because of how small it was – id love to make something bigger next c:
I can’t even imagine how such a contraption would work with just gears and so forth. Pretty cool looking, some steam punk headphones to go along with the iPod for next time?
Would love to make something like that next
Some of those cogs can be pretty spikey though lol
Fantastic work!!! Now if you get them to all interlink and move together that will be even better haha! Where you managed to get so many small cogs?
Theyre just old watch spares and broken parts XD
Getting them to work might take me a bit more time.. lol!
